about
Spiral69 the band led by Riccardo Sabetti return with the single "Exile Of The Heart" with the very special guest Steve Hewitt (Already founding member, drummer and author of Placebo) on drums and co-artistic producer. The song was recoded in Rome, Naples and London end mixed by Paul Corkett (The Cure, Nick Cave, Placebo, Bjork).
"Exile of the Heart" is a dark and powerful song, describes the emotional closure of a person after a love disappointment.
This song anticipates the new album scheduled for the fall 2015 and Is a new twist of sound for Spiral69, a further step forward in the sounds that already were main character in the EP of 2014, "Alone”. "Exile of the Heart" will be released the 9th of March 2015
for Rehab Records and will be distributed by Believe Digital.
lyrics
Sometimes we close
our feelings to save our skin
Sometimes we implore
our feelings to stop the pain
sometimes we come to the end
to save ourselves
sometimes we kill our feelings
not to kill ourselves
All the tears that bleed
for our broken souls
for the love that we feed
but who wants to fall?
Look what you’ve done - to exile my heart
And look who you are - you broke things we started
Sometimes we stop our feelings
to save our minds
Sometimes we implore
the end to kill the pain
I'm begging you please
for our broken souls
for the love that I need
and everytime I fall
Look what you’ve done - to exile my heart
And look who you are - you broke things we started
There's a part of you...
There's a part of me...
inside of you
inside of me.
